We had a lovely weekend away. We went to stay in a small town just outside the Forest of Boland. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was lovely as well. Hubby was doing a 12 hour endurance bike race, and he came 2nd in the solo category, so a nice bottle of wine was won. While away we went to Skipton, Settle and Mallam. Monday on our return we went to Morecambe to see Eric Morecambes statue and had fish and chips sitting on the front. How come they always taste nicer out of the paper.
